The New Home of Crossfire National Veterans Assistance Corp.

Graham Baptist Church, also known as the First Baptist Church of Hialeah Gardens is located between the Palmetto Expressway (826) and the Florida Turnpike on an access road (Frontage Road) that runs parallel to Okeechobee Road. More precisely, it is exactly one mile east of the Florida Turnpike and exactly 4 miles west of the Palmetto. The address is 13090 NW 107th Avenue, Hialeah Gardens, Fl 33018.

Years ago, this corner property of about four acres was donated by the Graham family (father of Senator Graham) who own much of Miami Lakes and west Dade County. The stipulation was that a church was to be placed on the property and that the property always be used for religious purposes.  The current congregation is very small with limited finances however the Crossfire advertising, promotion and programs  would be a welcome asset that would potentially attract families and new members to the church. There is a lot of new residential and business construction that is taking place in the immediate area, with plans for a major developer to construct a large shopping center close to the church property on Okeechobee Road.

Currently, there is a doublewide trailer (66' x 27' = 1783 sq. Ft.) where the church worship services are held with another trailer (66' x 14' = 924 sq. ft.), serving as classroom & fellowship areas. There is also a CBS house on the property which has been converted to general office space etc. All of it has been underutilized for decades.

Almost 4 acres would be an ideal place for Boy Scouts, Christian Motorcycle Clubs, Veterans Organizations and other similar groups to use for their special gatherings and functions.

An 80 foot flagpole would look great on the corner of this property. The 30 X 50 foot American

Flag would make a very strong statement to the community of our commitment to our veterans.

On the weekends, a huge Christian flag would announce the spiritual emphasis of our ministry

and serve as a landmark for all seeking fellowship at our church.

At the present time, the congregation is very small with limited finances however the Crossfire advertising, promotion and programs  would be a welcome asset that would attract families and new members to the church.

The property is also well suited for the establishment of a Christian Day Care facility with fenced and secure play ground equipment as well as interior space.

The Church is in need of repairs but we hope to have the assistance of the local Army Reserves Units

and Homestead Air Reserve Station to assist us with the technical expertise to bring the property

up to high standards. The Church has made plans to build modern facilities on the property in

order to utilize it more effectively.

The center building is used for classrooms and as a fellowship hall with complete kitchen.

It will easily accommodate a computer training center with at least 8 to 10 work stations that

can double as internet job search equipment for veterans and their families.

The house is a CBS structure and has been converted into office space with seven separate office

areas.  They would easily accommodate several counselors and staff members.

The small sanctuary can seat up to 100 people, and we hope to open it up to the community for various events. A digital projector can be used for power point presentations in  community meetings as well as a tool to promote and facilitate praise & worship services for the Church.
